Before diving into a full-blown pitch to your potential client, one thing is important to find out. At times, event coordinators may use the term “corporate photography” when inquiring about corporate portraiture, aka corporate headshots.
You want to make sure that they are looking for what you are about to pitch, so a simple question about which of the two they need would suffice. The last thing you need is to be prepared for something they did not ask for and then be ill prepared for what they did need!
Corporate event photography is more focused on the overall scene of the event, the speakers and interactions that will take place, and branding for the marketing team. The speakers, the stages, the scenery, VIPs, signage, wholesome. moments, it's sort-of all-encompassing.
